A to Z List of Electronic Resources

E-resources are electronic versions of printed books, magazines or newspapers. They can be accessed on any networked PC or mobile device 24 hours a day! The Learning Resource Centre has subscriptions to the following electronic resources:

• Reference information – GVRL (Gale Virtual Reference Library) and Issues online

Archival Sound Recordings

The British Library sound archive includes 12,000 recordings of music, spoken word and human and natural environments.

ON OR OFF CAMPUS: Click on the link above. When you click on a recording it will ask you to confirm your institution (Brooklands College). You will then be required to enter your college username and password to gain access to the recording.


Cirqa Online Library Catalogue

The Online Catalogue lists all the books, DVDs and ebooks in the Brooklands College collection. You can use it to search for items, check your own use and renew or request material.

e-law student

e-law student is a database of legal cases, articles, and statutes. There are also lecture notes linked to the ‘A’ level syllabus, supplementary diagrams and information on Human Rights legislation.
