In addition to the standard Library services, HE students are likely to require more in-depth use of library resources, for example, using academic journal literature and industry reports. For information on the resources in your subject area take a look at the relevant Subject Guide.

Extra support from the Library staff is available for learners studying at HE level. Your Link Librarian can provide advice on selecting suitable resources and effective search strategies.

Access to partner resources

If you are studying on a course which is franchised by a university you are also eligible to access the resources of the partner institution.

These courses include:
 Foundation Degree in Motorsport Engineering - Oxford Brookes University
 BSc (Hons) Degree in Motorsport Technology - Oxford Brookes University
 Foundation Degree in Early Years - Kingston University
This means that, as well as visiting the libraries of the partner university, you can also use their online resources from any computer with internet access.

Your Link Librarian can help you navigate the University library webpages and search their resources, such as ejournals and major research databases.

The HE study room at Weybridge library is reserved for students on HE courses. It contains study space and PCs, and offers an HE learning environment.
